Visual FX

Happy Hour

Happy hour is a short film written anddirected by Khaled Spiewak about the consequences of alcoholism.

My involvement was to create the kinds of visual effects that you don't see.  Some shots contained lights, cables or other items that were not removed from set during filming and so Khaled asked me to remove them.

I used Adobe After Effects to track the camea within the scene and then mask out the unwanted items using a combination of hand rotoscoping and overlays.

Happy Hour and my credit for Visual Effects can be found on

VELEMEGNA Hospital Society

I was asked to create an infor-graphic for the VELEMEGNA Hospital Society promotional video detailing the statistics of curable blindness in India in 2018.  The hospital was a family run clinic that serves a small village with a large community, people travelled from all over India to be treated here with simple operations such as cornea surgery.
